Some of our affiliated online stores (e.g. Amazon) as well as our ZeeMaps fan map may also temporarily store Flash objects (to display interactive content or embedded media) on your device in addition to plain text cookies. Our affiliated online stores may, for example, use cookies in order to display targeted advertisements when you visit their websites. RKN itself does not display any advertisements/ad banners to visitors and never will.
RKN uses StatCounter to collect information on its visitors. This does not include personal information, but details such as browser versions, screen resolution, operationg systems, ISP, country etc. StatCounter may store cookies on your device too. RKN will only store personal information like your e-mail address if you actively submit it by subscribing to our newsletter or fanlisting, or registering a user in the gallery. RKN will never pass on your details to any third party.
You can change your browser settings not to allow cookies. Instructions can be found here. Disabling cookies will still enable you to browse RKN and view all the information on here, but certain features like the gallery log-in may no longer work.
You can also delete cookies and temporary files manually via your browser any time you wish. I recommend you do this from time to time.
