Fan Comments
These Days leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling inside; It's a charmingly atmospheric track that conjures up warm sunny days, and leaves you with that feel good emotion Ronan seems to romantically empathise with. He's a real modern day gentleman, whose lyrics are full of musical romance and etiquette. Heavenly lyrics, such as "so connected like the moon is to the sun" are enchanting, and warm your soul. Ronan's voice is alluring and soulful and, coupled with the mellow tones of Brian Kennedy, leaves you spellbound and enables you to inhabit a dreamlike place, full of emotion and rapture. The Celtic accents of Ronan and Brian, whilst similar in region are so unique and different in pitch and character, as to remain uniquely and individually Celtic. It is a collaboration that has a magical quality to it, being as Brian and Ronan are coming from the same angle musically; being musical friends.
A bonus on this CD is an informal chat with Ro and Brian about their musical partnership and Brian's take on Ronan as an artist. This CD is worth purchasing for its joyous musical content alone, but also having a CD interview on it makes it a must for any Ronan collectors back catalogue. It's a must, go bag it today.
