Ronan Keating is an Irish singer and great guy, but you already know that.

In the beginning I was a Boyzone fan but Ronan, Stephen and Shane I was the most fan of. Ronan's voice gave me goose pimples so nice and warm. Then the look of his face when he is singing, wow. The songs made me strong in life, make me smile and dance. When he smiles his eyes smile too.

He was born in Dublin on 3 March 1977. His mother Marie died on 2 February 1998 from breast cancer. That's why his sister Linda and family set up the Marie Keating foundation. The whole family want to help other people. That's such a nice thing that they do that.

On 30 April 1998 he married Yvonne Connolly, she is a beautiful model. She is taller than him lol. When you see them together now or 10 years ago they look very happy. They look in love as if they met each other yesterday. They have 3 kids Ali, Marie and Jack. Jack is the oldest.

Now about something else. What I have with Ronan.

When I was young I had a kidney transplant from my dad. The first years was very difficult for me because I was a lot in the hospital because I had a lot off complications. But when I heard them/Ronan sing I enjoyed life again. Singing in bed in the hospital, No matter what, Love me for a reason.  The nurse was also singing with me, was so funny.

Now my dad passed away 6 years ago. (On 15 March that's the birthday of Ronan's son Jack.) It's just like Ronan said in Songs for my mother: 'Music is an incredible tool that automatically transports you where you were when you first heard a song. It allows you to experience feelings and emotions from your past.' The cd Songs for my mother gives strength. It’s such a good cd with nice songs but the titles This is your song and Carrickfergus, I just know what he means. He just singing the right words, he can really well express himself. The new cd Winter songs has a great song which reminds me of my dad, It's only Christmas. He's singing ‘I miss us’ and yes I miss my daddy cuddling. When I think of cuddling then I think of the great friendship between Ronan and Stephen Gately. Ronan is so open and honest about everything in his interviews about his feelings. The interview on Sky news wow they were so open and telling everything about sleeping in the church. That must be very difficult for him. I love him more now and I am a big fan. I am so proud how he planned and how the dealt with the funeral, thinking of Stephen and also the fans and the very emotional speech of him. You see how much he loved him, his little bother. I am glad that we can see him smile again. We have listened a lot to Little drummer boy and hear an angel sing at Christmas. Then think of Steo and Ronan. I can't get enough of the cd. I listen to it every day. When I hear Stay I see Ronan with his six pack and nice body. Every time I see him on tv and some people say something about his six pack in his song Stay I must laugh. He is then so charmingly shy.

Don't get me wrong about the songs I like. I like them all not just It's only Christmas, Carrickfergus and This is your song .

On 26 March I am going al the way to Germany to go to his performance with my niece, she lost her mother too. We are so blessed that we can do it and so very happy. We look forward to do this. The new year starts really positive for me. I hope for Ronan too. It was not a nice year for him. Hopefully he has enjoyed his holiday with his family and took some rest and deal with the loss of someone special. He will always be missed…..
