Ronan was the darling of Doncaster when he graced the stage at Keepmoat Stadium. His rocky and earthy side took centre stage as he kicked off the show with the edgey sound of Turn it on Again.

Ronan wore blue jeans and a casual white shirt in the now famous Keating fashion; with one side of his shirt drapped sylishly over his jeans with the other side tucked in, displaying a big buckle belt - he looked both trendy and chic.

All the old favourite songs were there, plus some new ones, such as the breezy and bouncy Summer Outside, the now much anticipated chilled out guitar track Friends in Time and all the classic hallmark tracks such as, the tongue in cheek I love it when we do, and the exquisitely adorable When you Say Nothing At All, which caught everyone in the romance of it all. The stunningly beautiful song Superman tugged at everyone's heart strings and Ronan brought a smile to everyone's face when he declared "this is a song about me" - echoes around the audience as Ronan sang "I'm no Superman" had to be a resounding "yes you are" with vocals as touching and emotional as this.

A novel twist to Ronans customary walk out into the crowd was when he went off back stage and around the side of the stadium shaking hands with the fans.

Ronan's vocals on Baby can I hold you were sung with such vunerability and tenderness that it left the audience in no doubt as to Ronans emotional creativity as a performer.

Ronan's voice displayed, as always, a true range of diversity and style in the tracks he performed, both old and new; the rip roaring Rollercoaster went down a storm as always and received the air punching accolade of a classic anthem. Ronan changed the usual soulful laid back song of The Long Goodbye as his finale for the quirky and ecstatic sound of Lovin each Day (which we certainly will be Ronan while ever you are around).

Next year and the next tour cannot come soon enough.
