After 6 and a half hours of standing in front of the closed gates, we were finally allowed to rush in. It was now 6.30 and it was still a lot of time to wait for our hero.
I was lucky enough to walk through the barrier and was standing just 5 metres away from the stage. Front Row !!  I couldn't really believe that...
I carried my banner with me, hoping that he'd  recognise it.
Then, after another long hour and the performance of "Fixate", our time had come!!!
It was now 8.30 and the first tunes of "Heal me"  appeared..
As you know, it was an open air performance and the daylight was still there. The stage wasn't as big as the ones in the UK and the people were all standing, there were no seats at all.
Then he came!!!! From behind the stage - and he looked gorgeous! Again in black leather and white t-shirt.
In front of the stage there were a few metres of lawn which ended in a wall where we were standing.. And guess what he did???? He went straight up to us and shook our hands while singing " The way you make me feel".  I couldn't believe my luck !!!!
I love "Addicted", one of my faves, especially the performance! When he sang " oh, I can't sleep in these wet sheets ...", he pulled his shirt and went with his hands over his chest. Oh wow!  Hey Ro , what are you doing to us, I thought !!!
This time, when he sang the three BZ-songs , he didn't change his gear . He sang as usual: Picture of you, Baby can I hold you and Love me for a reason, The last was absolutely lovely, when he performed it with Jo again. She got a big applause.
Ronan turned towards the back and left her at the front of the stage. It was a very nice gesture of him, I think.
"Lovin' Each Day " was again a special sexy performance ! Wow! I couldn't believe my eyes, when he rolled down the lawn and was lying almost directly in front of the fans , while doing his sexy movements !!!!
Cool !!! What a man !!!! Suddenly Barrie (Knight) appeared, took his leg and pulled the whole lying Ro over the lawn and helped him onto his feet..  Perhaps Barrie didn't like that too much ???? I don't know, but it was all very funny.

The show went on with the usual songs and we all enjoyed it very much. It was a real party with Ro. The 4000 fans were singing and dancing and the weather was fine. I must mention that, because we didn't have a drop of rain falling down on us !!!! Sensation !!! The Sun God was on stage !!!!
He told us that "Hamburg is a wild city and there are a lot of bars around, and the Germans like drinking very much......... like the Irish!!!!" He was so nice and we all felt that he himself had a lot of fun as well.
Then the time had come for the last three songs.
"Life is a Rollercoaster" was a Sing-a-long version for the audience!!  It was amazing !!!! Followed by "Tender" by Blur, very nice song. And at the very end he performed "Whisky in the Jar", and we all were jumping with our hands in the air.
Yes, that was it! The best show I've ever seen! I must admit I liked it more than Dublin, because I was so near to him and I could watch every little movement of him.
And not to forget that he recognized my banner.  He saw it, gave me that smile and nodded. The girl beside me saw that too.
I thought: Ro please come back very soon !!!!
