One month after seeing Ronan on stage in London - Wembley (May 11th-13th) the day had come when he gave his only concert outside the U.K. in Hamburg, Germany.

Friday morning, me and my friends drove to Hamburg to see the man himself. After 4 hours we arrived at our hotel near the Stadtpark, we checked in and afterwards we went to the Stadtpark to check the location.
And there were already a couple of fans waiting outside the gate....so we had to hurry.

What a pity that concerts in Germany have no reserved seats, so we had to wait for hours until we were allowed to rush in,....but hey, as it was an open air concert we were able to listen to the soundcheck, and when Ro's voice comes through to your ears you know why you are standing there for almost 6 hours.
Wow, he did Somedays, Love me for a reason, Heal me..and some others, for the soundcheck.

Then the panic started,....the gates opened at 6.00pm and we rushed in and had front seats at the first gate..wow!
Even if there was a space in front of us for younger and smaller people, we were over the moon.
Again about 1 hour to wait until the support act Fixate (same as in the U.K.) came on stage and finally the lights went out at 8.45 pm for the one and only Ronan Keating.

The tones of Heal me started,..and Ro ran on stage in black leather and white t-shirt....the crowd was screaming......one ...two ...one ..two..three...four...HEAL ME !!!!
Yeah he rocked the place....!!! After performing If you love me and Once upon a lifetime, he told us that this was his first European concert (outside U.K.) and that he was really excited...and that he now had to keep us.
Then followed The way you make me feel, where he went across the lawn and shook hands with the fans...smiling from one ear to the other....he was really enjoying himself, as the concert was sold out, and everybody was singing his songs!!
He performed the same song order as in the U.K. ...and during Addicted,..he pulled his shirt and went over his chest...argh! it made me breathless!

Then Ro told us that he is going to America soon, and while he sang Somedays we held our banner with the words "Good luck for America" ..and yeah, he saw it and smiled and raised his thumb!

Afterwards came the BZ-medley,...singing Picture of you, Baby can I hold you, and Love me for a reason together with Jo, who he left in front of the stage. Poor Jo, lol. Jo got an extra applause!!
Barrie, who stood at the side of the stage, made me really laugh when he moved his hips,..lol - it looked so funny,...it seemed that he made Ro laugh!
Also the band was in a really good mood, they were all enjoying the concert to the max.
Followed by When you say nothing at all,....In this life....and Keep on walking!

The tunes of Lovin' each day started ...and the place was rockin'..and as I saw the show in the U.K. I expected him to do something really sexy..you all know what I mean, and yes he did,...suddenly he rolled down the lawn, and all the lucky ones who stood there could touch him, until Barrie came out from the side....to catch his leg, and pulled the lying Ro over the lawn....and got him back on his feet.
WOW...that's more than I ever expected...and I didn't know if I should scream or laugh as it looked so funny,...take a look on the pictures!

But hey, if you thought that was everything then wait until Love the way we do ,..argh!!! Ro made those sexy moves,....oh wow, this man is so sexy...I guess Wivvy did a great job, lol. There's no more the shy Ro, and you can see it in his eyes that he is really enjoying the reaction of the fans.
We raised the other side of our banner "We love the way you do it..." with three of his sexiest poses from the U.K. show ;-)!!!

Life is a rollercoaster brought the party to its height, having a sing-along with the crowd, I never saw such a happy Ro..he knew that he had made it. It was amazing.
Followed by Tender.....and finally he left us with Whiskey in the Jar.  Everybody was jumping and clapping their hands. The band was rockin' and Jo took the bass to play,...it was a brilliant finale!

Ro left us with the promise to come back after spending the summer in the USA,...to do some more concerts in Europe.  And after this concert,  I am sure he will do!!! Fingers crossed!

Finally I have to say, that London was great...and unfortunately he couldn't bring along his whole tour to Germany, but hey, that was the best concert I ever saw in Germany, with such an amazing crowd, mixed from the old to the younger ones...
To be truthful,  I prefer the solo Ro, and after seeing him so relaxed and happy doing his own stuff, there's no need to go back to BZ.

After the concert we went to his hotel to have a drink ..unfortunately we just saw Barrie walking through the bar,...but we were so lucky ..and enjoyed the rest of this beautiful day!!!!
We were Lovin' this day.
