Karen meets Ronan in Wrexham, 21.06.00

My son Daniel had arranged for me, my daughter Lindsay and her best friend Tracy to meet Ronan at the studios of Marcher Sound Radio in Wrexham where he worked.
We were waiting inside the building while Ronan was being interviewed by Terry Underhill. Shortly afterwards I saw them walking towards us. Ronan was dressed all in white. He looked just like an angel coming towards me. He took my breath away!!! Terry said "I've got some important people I want you to meet."
We had a brief chat and I gave Ronan a silver Harley Davidson pen in a gift box that I had bought especially for him cause I knew he had a Harley Motorcycle. Then it was time to say our goodbyes. I stepped forward and kissed Ronan on the cheek, and as I did so, I trod on his toe. He didn't even flinch!! Bless him. Lol. Me and my family still have a laugh about me doing that and messing up that special moment. But that day will stay with me for the rest of my life!! It was a magical experience I will never forget. Thank you Ronan!!! XX
