Staatsloterij The Netherlands 05.12.03 - By Cindy
In the afternoon I went with my mum to my aunt to pick her and my cousin up to drive to Hilversum. It was very busy on the roads, but we could drive the normal speed. So we were very on time at the Media Park. We had to wait till we could get a bus from the parking place of our car to the studio. When there were finally busses of course the one we wanted to get in was full just before we could get in to it. So we took the one after. Luckily there were 4 seats at the end of the bus just before the last ones.
The bus took us to the studio. In the studio hall I saw a lot familiar faces. At some point a woman asked: Are you Cindy? Yes I answered a bit confused. Yeah I saw you on the internet. And I was like where? At some yahoo lists. That was so strange getting recognized. I think I have to wear sunglasses from now on. *lol* But it was a strange thing that a woman I don’t know, knows me. I forgot who it was already. Meeting up with some friends I didn’t see for some time was great, but couldn’t talk long with them.
At some point they told us we had to go into the studio. We where the second group who got in.
When we finally found our seats we found out that we were second row. But everything was in the round, with stages on more places. First I was afraid that Ronan would do his performance on the stage most far from us, but luckily he didn’t.
Just before the show started we got a free ticket for the lottery, which is always nice to get.
And there came a person from the show to ask Diane who was sitting next to me, of she could change her place for 5 minutes with the notary. I was like OMG this means that I will be on screen then, when I sit next to him this five minutes. Help!
I will not tell you about the whole show, because it lasted for 2 hours. It was a live show and we had to sit on our seats under the commercials too.
I tell you some of the things that happened during the show. Sinterklaas arrived and Simply Red did a song. They sung live. Also there were some wishes from people for other people and Sinterklaas made them come true. That was through the whole show. Also they introduced the notary and I was full on screen too. And there was a girl band from Belgium which is loved by little girls called K3, but they didn’t sing live.
There was a wish and the parents of that boy sat behind me so I was on screen again. Maybe I shouldn’t have worn that orange shirt. *lol* Then at some point they put some things for the musicians on the stage in front of us. And when I saw the musicians and one of them was Callum I was like Ronan is going to do his song there! It was the stage the most close to us.
Then Ronan walked past us, because he came from the entrance next to us. The presenter was still talking and Ronan was looking around the people who he saw in front of him. You could see he was searching for somebody with his eyes. Then he turned his head our way and he looked at us. He smiled and raised his eyebrows to us. He also gave the thumbs up to us. He was so busy with us that he almost missed the presenter saying that Ronan Keating would do the next song.
He was looking real good. His hair is a bit longer these days, which I like a lot. Not to long, but not to short also. He was totally in black and his shirt was open really far and gave a nice view of his chest.
He sung she believes in me and did that very good. When we were waving with our scarf the camera man saw us and we were full on screen we found out later. After the song he went away, but not through the exit he came from. So I couldn’t make a photo of him from close. I did make some photos, although that wasn’t allowed. Some are moved, but some are ok. I only made 7 photos.
For the rest of the show I was on screen again when a boy in front of us got his wish come true. And we saw the Sugababes sing live and another song from Simply Red. There were also a group of Simply Red fans by the way.
It was a nice show and of course Ronan was the best in it.
On the way back in my car my mum and aunt told me that next time they wanted to go with me again. When I dropped my aunt and cousin off, my uncle said that he saw me a lot on TV. My dad told me the same when we got home.
And today my brother came home and asked where the TV star was meaning me. Also other family members did saw me, very funny
