Ronan takes the Ice Bucket Challenge
You may have heard of the Ice Bucket Challenge? Our man is a star. Ice BUCKET? Not large enough, it's got to be a wheelie bin. Watch Ronan's video on his Instagram account - and also check out his first attempt, which... failed miserably :°)
Storm has done the challenge too and posted her video - featuring a grinning Ronan clearly enjoying pouring the ice over her head!
The Ice Bucket Challenge is about raising awareness of, and funds for, ALS - or MND, as it is called elsewhere. If you feel that Ronan's video clip is worth a donation, why not donate online to one of the following charities...
MND Association (UK) - or donate by text: Text ICED55 followed by an amount (such as £5) to 70070
Marie Keating Foundation Golf Day 2014
The annual Marie Keating Foundation golf day took place on July 24th this year in order to raise funds for cancer prevention and education. Ronan shared some very exciting updates in his press interviews he did on the day! You will be pleased to hear he's still aiming to release his next album around March/April 2015, and has been discussing songs with Gregg Alexander. Hopefully, more movies will happen in 2015 too, although this depends heavily on financing.
Order the official 2015 wall calendar
There's some previews available of the official 2015 wall calendar and we already know it's going to be a hot year! The July photo alone is an absolute dream come true and should be up all year.
You can order on Amazon UK, Amazon Germany, Fishpond Australia - or straight from Danilo, the publisher, although that's slightly more expensive at the moment. They've got a few more pictures up on the product page as well, so head over to have a look.
The release date at the moment is August 31st but please bear in mind that it is usually postponed, so orders might not be shipped until autumn.
Ronan snatches lead role in "Once - The Musical"
Some very interesting news this morning..... Ronan is going to play Guy in Once - The Musical in London from Nov 17th, 2014 until March 21st, 2015 (except for Jan 20th and 24th!). If, like us, you're not familiar with the story, there is a summary on Wikipedia. It will involve Ronan playing the guitar while singing, so it definitely gets the thumbs up from us :) Tickets for all shows are on sale already!

Postman Pat - The Movie is out in the UK this week, and the soundtrack features three Ronan songs - including two new recordings, With You and Signed, Sealed, Delivered!

Media coverage of the Dublin screening of 'Goddess'
The Goddess screening on the last weekend of this year's Dublin Film Festival received a lot of positive reaction, both from the audience and in the media. Although the movie was shown at a relatively small screen, there's been quite a buzz about it online.
At the Q&A session afterwards, Ronan revealed some first details on his next movie project, The Riders (based on a Tim Winton novel), in which he joins the cast of Luke Hemsworth and Mark Strong, for which filming is about to begin. Stones In His Pockets apparently has been moved back to next year.
Here's some of the articles, photos and videos from the screening....

Ronan lends singing voice to Postman Pat in new movie
Postman Pat: The Movie hits UK cinemas on May 23rd and the story includes Pat taking part in a singing competition... Yes you've guessed it, the singing voice has been done by Ronan. Whatever you think of the movie itself, Ronan sounds rather beautiful. You can watch the official trailer on Youtube.
Order 'Goddess' on DVD or Blu-Ray now!
Goddess is available on DVD and Blu-Ray in Australia now - You can order it from Fishpond Australia (DVD/Blu-Ray), Fishpond International (DVD/Blu-Ray), Sanity (DVD/Blu-Ray), Chaos (DVD/Blu-Ray) or Big W (DVD plus soundtrack CD/DVD/Blu-Ray).
Please note that these are all Australian stores, so be aware of region codes! The DVD is Region 4, which will play in Australia, New Zealand and other Region 4 countries, as well as on compatible players elsewhere. Some laptop drives seem to ignore region codes. The Blu-Ray is Region B and will play in Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Southwest Asia and Europe.
'Live at the O2' now available on Amazon and iTunes
You can now also buy one of Ronan's Fires Live CD's - the one from London's O2 Arena - in various other online stores, if you haven't purchased it directly from Concert Live yet. Personally I think it's a pity that only the London one seems to be available now, because personally I don't think it is the best one out of the four that were recorded. However, it is definitely worth getting!
iTunes UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand - and most other countries; just search your local iTunes for "Ronan Keating Live 2013"!

'Wasted Light' promo video now online
The beautiful promo video for Ronan's new single 'Wasted Light' has just been made available. It's very different to any of his previous videos and shows Ronan in a world of pretty little animations. How do you all like it?
If the website tells you the video is not available in your location - It has also been added to Ronan's official German website and that version should work for most of you. If not, try the Firefox add-on 'Proxtube', or an app called iSwifter for Apple devices, to bypass geoblocking.
